More cute fall pics!

The Pumkin Farm '08

Last week Chloe's preschool had a field trip to May Farms in Byers, Co. I love fall and I love the pumkin farm! The girls first got to go to pick out which pumpkin they wanted to take home. Chloe picked a "baby" pumpkin of course and Kennedy found hers right away too. Then the kids got to go on a barrel train ride. It was so cute and they got to go for a long ride around the whole farm and through a tunnel too! Then It was time to listen to Mrs. May talk about the farm animals and they got to see the eggs the chickens layed the night before and feed the baby cows and goats! And last, but not least we all got to go on a hay ride!

Chloe found her baby pumpkin!

Kennedy found a good one too!

"Cheese" ... do they ever look at the camera?

What cute girls! :)

Is this not the best baby picture ever?

My little stinker! I don't think she would have looked at the camera for all the candy in the world!

Funny!

Sometimes telemarketers will assume that because our last name is Rodriguez that we speak spanish. We don't! When Kennedy answers the phone most of the time it is just a telemarketer so it is funny to hear what she says and sometimes I take the phone or just tell her to hang up. Yesterday when she answered the phone I heard her say "hola"! I was laughing because I new they were talking to her in spanish, then she told the person, "I don't speak spanish" and then when she hung up the phone she said, "Well, they said Rodriguez right!". So funny, Maybe you had to be there, but when I was telling Gabe I was cracking up!

White Fence Farm!

Last Friday night we went to dinner with Gabe's parents Debbie and Bob to The White Fence Farm. I had seen it advertised and had been wanting to take the girls, so finally we got to go and had a great time. The Family style dinner was great, they specialize in fried chicken and it was yummy! And they have a bunch of other things on "the farm" so it made it fun for the girls. We went on a horse and carriage ride, they have a indoor and outdoor play area with a really cool playhouse and after dinner we went to feed the animals in the back. They had a cow that weighed over a ton named tank, a pig that weighed over 600lbs. two goats named tic and tack and two sheep named holly and ivy, I can't remember the name of the pig.
Kennedy and Chloe loved the treehouse and they love animals, so feeding them was really cool! I think their favorite animal was the clydesdale horse from the carriage ride named Samuel(Sam)! Kennedy said on the carriage ride"Is this for real or am I dreaming". I told her she was like Cinderella on a carriage ride going to the ball!

Here are a few pics and a video of Ava taking a bath. She just got done eating and her face is a mess and she's got a super cool mohawk! :) I'm not sure why I couldn't get her to look at me for most of the video but still so cute!

The Denver Zoo!

We finally made our first trip to the Denver zoo. I definately plan on getting an annual pass so I can take the girls any time. For being right in the middle of metro Denver it is really a great zoo. We went in the afternoon so we didn't get to see everything before it closed. They did have some annimals that Colorado is know for that you don't normally see at all other zoos like big horn sheep(which I have been wanting to see in the Mountains), mountain goats(on their "feaux" sp? mountains) and Elk and buffalo. I know their not all that unusual but still cool to see. But I think the most exciting this trip was the 3 wk old baby giraffe, the girls loved him!

Our little animals!

"Nala "

"Simba"

She loves her momma!

Can they ever just smile and look at the camera together!

We got to see the zookeeper put out all the meat and then let out the tiger to go hunt for his dinner.

Baby and momma giraffe.

Smile Chloe!

Big smiles for Ava!
